The World Earthquakes Organization reported a minor shallow-focus earthquake with a magnitude of ML 2.6 that struck SOUTHERN ALASKA region on Thursday at a depth of 29.8 km (19 miles). The earthquake was located at a latitude of 61.3564 °N and a longitude of -146.5331 °W.
